My new broken camera

Yesterday I received a new broken camera body. This camera had a fault in the connectos between body and lens. In this particular case, as I bought it to replace my old Pentax *ist Ds, used just with old manual lenses, I didn’t care. The fact is that the camera works perfectly if you don’t need and autofocus lens.

The camera is a Sony alpha 350 with just a thousand shutter activations —that’s the amount of shots I made last month—. Although I did hear some good things of sony –previously konica minolta– dslrs, I did’t believe it so much. In the photo above, it’s next to my Canon 400d with a Asahi Super Takumar 50mm f1.4 lens mounted. Both have pretty similar size.

This is the first test I’ve shot with the camera. It’s not bad at all. I’m happy with the buy.
